RHT Rajan Menon Foundation (“Foundation”), a Singapore registered charity and grant-making philanthropic organisation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Board Director Ms Kaylee Kwok as its new Deputy Chairman. The Foundation has also expanded its Board with the appointment of Ms Jennifer Lee as Board Director. In addition, Ms Connie Chang has been appointed as Honorary Treasurer.
The Foundation enables RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP (“Law Firm”) and the RHT Group of Companies to do RigHT and do good through various charitable endeavours. Kaylee is a Partner of the Law Firm, whereas Jennifer is the Law Firm’s Business Development Director and Connie serves as its Chief Financial Officer.
RHT Rajan Menon Foundation’s Chairman, Mr Tan Chong Huat, said, “The new appointments reflect our growing ambition to do more for our community. We are confident that this will enable the Foundation’s major initiatives, such as the Successful Ageing Project, to create greater positive impact for our beneficiaries.”
“This will also enable us to widen the Foundation’s reach as we intensify our efforts to promote green growth in Singapore and the ASEAN region and galvanise others to embed and grow sustainability into their business models through the Foundation’s sustainability initiative called GAIL: Greening ASEAN: Initiatives & Leadership,” he added.
The Foundation seeks to establish, inspire and encourage the right philanthropic culture among the corporate and legal fraternity of giving back to the community in a focused, hands-on and meaningful manner. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised more than S$1.5 million to support beneficiaries involved in education, the environment, disadvantaged groups and the arts.
